ERP Project Implementation in Toyota-Ukraine Completed by OntargIT

Kyiv, Ukraine – 12 may, 2011 – Toyota-Ukraine recruited OntargIT, the Microsoft partner, for Microsoft Dynamics AX project implementation. OntargIT specializes in Microsoft Dynamics AX. The company joins experienced stuff in software and automobile sale sphere.

The project for automation of logistics and selling of Toyota and Lexus brands vehicles on the base of the latest Microsoft Dynamics AX (2009) version started in December 2009.

The logical limits of the project include the automation of the following business processes:

• Import, export and internal moving (placement) logistics
• Sales management and dealers network price formation;
• Fleet-sales support;
• Integration with global Toyota systems (planning system and sales control system) and systems of service support companies;
• Distribution of additional costs;
• Customer and supplier payments;
• Creation of website for dealers;
• Double-sided integration with company accountancy software;
• Creation of analytical report system on the base of OLAP-technology.

As a part of the project, a web portal has been created for Toyota-Ukraine’s dealers network. The network includes 36 dealer centers all over Ukraine and one in Moldova. Using the web-portal, dealers can manage automobile reserves online.

Exploitation of the system started in October 2010 when the stuff of logistics, sales and finance departments of Toyota-Ukraine began using the new system, supported by OntargIT specialists.

This fact has outlined the project complicacy, which can be characterized by growing requirements to the system, defined by demands of the business process. During the project implementation its frameworks were significantly extended. The import logistics and dealer relations system was enlarged by several new schemas. At the certain point, the consultants had to change the conception of automobile logistics realization, which is one of the key business-processes. Development of the system goes on continuously. The other project of unification (joining) of automobiles and spare parts selling process inside one database on the base of latest system version came to the end in February. The subsystem of accounts and corporate web-portal are being created at the moment along with. Plans for the next months include service processes support (preselling automobile preparations etc.) in Dynamics AX. Separately I wish to mark out the high knowledge level of consultants and leader of the team”.

Igor Vasilenko, the consulting director of OntargIT: “The built decision for Toyota supports high level of automation (for example, the mechanism of automobiles distribution among transporters use the algorithms of linear programming, it became the favorite project task for chief developer) and provides enlarged list of supported business processes for further system development. We had no conflicts at the time of responsibility distribution. The team started working according to principle of on-line task distribution. The sponsor of the project took an active part in the project works (actively and constructively!) at all stages of project, and during project launch – participated everyday».
