After installing the Metrica counter on their websites, advertisers can see what links bring visitors to their websites and track user activity there. For example, our advertisers can see if people reach an order form or another significant page on the website. The Metrica tool creates eight groups of various reports, the data are updated every five minutes. Website visitors cannot see the Metrica counter, its records are accessible only to the owner of a website.
“Yandex.Metrica is a business solution,” says Eugene Lomize, head of the Yandex advertising technologies group. The whole system is designed, first and foremost, to control the efficiency of campaigns in various online advertising systems. Based on constantly updated data, advertisers can instantly see the effect of the actions they have just performed and, say, optimize parameters of their advertising campaigns right away”.
Yandex.Metrica is constantly monitoring website accessibility, and in case of a problem it notifies the owner with an email or a free text message.
*From March 2007, Yandex.Metrica has been available only to advertisers on Yandex.Direct and participants in the Yandex Advertising Network.
