The map has 52 junctions including the city’s most difficult intersections. Every junction allows to choose the desired direction and the map will show the route through this particular junction. Drivers can print it out and take with them to make sure they do not get lost somewhere, say, around Petrovka or Vidubichi metro station.
The junction maps will be updated to keep users aware of changes in junction layouts or traffic flow direction on the intersecting roads. To read more about the new feature on Yandex.Maps, please, visit the Yandex.Ukraine blog (in Ukrainian).
Yandex first launched maps of Ukrainian cities in 2006. Currently, the company’s mapping service features maps for 35 cities in this country. In March 2008, Yandex rolled out “Kiev Traffic”, the first traffic monitoring service in the Ukrainian Internet.
