MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - February 12, 2010 - Frost & Sullivan is pleased to announce that Robert Ayoub, Global Director of the firm's Network Security practice, will serve as Moderator on the panel, "Customizing Your Network Security Based upon Your Vulnerability Climate," during RSA Conference 2010.
Held March 1-5, 2010 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, RSA Conference 2010 is the most comprehensive forum in information security, offering enterprise and technical professionals one-stop learning.
Hackers use every possible vector to exploit weak points in the network. Organizations need to react quickly to address these vulnerabilities to avoid being attacked. The panel session led by Ayoub will discuss integrating Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) with vulnerability management to make it easier and faster for companies to deploy the security solutions required to protect their networks. The panel will take place Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 1 pm PT in the Orange Room 306 at the Moscone Convention Center.
Panelists include Peter Kunz, Manager Infrastructure Security, Information Technology Management, Global Information Security, Daimler; Paul Arceneaux, VP of Product Line Management, TippingPoint Technologies; and Wolfgang Kandek, Chief Technology Officer of Qualys, Inc.
Ayoub is Global Director of Frost & Sullivan's Network Security practice. He focuses on monitoring and analyzing emerging trends, technologies and market behavior in the network security markets worldwide. Since joining Frost & Sullivan in June 2005, Ayoub has completed several research studies and consulting projects on IPS, intrusion detection systems (IDS), security event correlations (SIM, SEM) systems, IT policy and compliance, videoconferencing security, and network access control systems.
