UIA opens the way to the heart of Eurasia

The direct Kiev-Almaty flight will operate twice a week commencing 11 March 2010: departing from Kiev on Mondays and Thursdays and from Almaty on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The new flights are scheduled to ensure convenient connections with flights to key Western European destinations - London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich and Rome. Passengers arriving to Kiev Borispol International Airport from Almaty will be able to connect with UIA flights operated on a code-share basis with partner airlines to the Ukrainian cities of Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Kharkov, Chernovtsy, Lugansk, Uzhgorod, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and Simferopol with minimal connection times.

UIA flights to Almaty are operated using Boeing 737 aircraft with business and economy class service.

Roundtrip airfares for UIA's Kiev-Almaty flights start from USD 430 in economy class, excluding taxes.
