This time, the Heroes of the event will be the brilliant musicians - Oleg Khudyakov (flute) and Elina Kachalova (piano). Oleg Khudyakov is Dean of the Historical and Contemporary Performing Arts Faculty of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Associate Professor, the teacher of flute lessons. For more than 20 years Oleg Khudyakov directs an ensemble of soloists "Orfarion", that play old instruments. Elina Kachalova works at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory as an accompanist, there are also jazz improvisation and musical arrangements in the sphere of her interests.
The duo of musicians will present three violin Sonatas of Ludwig Van Beethoven, Comp. 30 in the arrangement of a remarkable French flutist and composer Louis Drouet for flute and piano. Beethoven wrote the Sonatas in 1802 and dedicated them to the young Russian Emperor Alexander I. The composer must have heard about a new Russian Tsar from his friend and patron Count Razumovsky: Alexander I, ascended the throne in 1801 after the assassination of Paul I, was set on with great hopes in Russia and in Europe. It was important for Beethoven, the fact that the young Emperor played a violin, and was able to appreciate the pure art. Being delightfully beautiful, "Aleksandrov" Sonatas combine perfection of the form with the warmth of tone and wit.
Classic Emotions Concerts are designed not only to acquaint the audience with virtuosic performers and beautiful music, but also to recreate a cozy atmosphere of the Musical Saloon.
